Hi, I'm Melissa — the hands, heart, and imagination behind Made It by Melissa.

I've always lived with one foot in both worlds: the analytical and the artistic. By day, I built a career in clinical laboratory science, fueled by structure, precision, and detail. But behind the scenes, I’ve always carved out space for creativity — designing, crafting, and making things with my hands has been my happy place for as long as I can remember.

A year ago, I decided to take a leap and turn that creative outlet into something more. Made It by Melissa was born from the desire to bring together art, expression, and everyday style — creating wearable works of art that are both bold and beautifully made.

I launched with my Game Day Collection, inspired by my lifelong love of school sports and the infectious energy of team spirit. It was the perfect way to blend heart, hometown pride, and handcrafted design into something vibrant and meaningful.

Now, every piece of jewelry I create is thoughtfully designed to bring joy, spark confidence, and tell a little story — whether you’re cheering from the sidelines or heading out for coffee with friends.
